What are these guys like to deal with?
How long would delivery of an item take?

They are offering a data cable for my phone for between $4, this same cable for me to buy at a shop in Adelaide $34.

Service is good but basic air freight takes a long time - you can pay more to get it quicker but gets pretty pricey for heavier items. A cable shouldn't be too heavy though...

For the U2 heads out there Amazon have an exclusive box set of the remastered reissues which looks pretty cool, and a damn site cheaper than paying $50 each for the 3 Cds in JBs! http://tinyurl.com/4a7qq8

Use them for books/DVDs etc you can't get here, or EBAY.
Not for things like cables.

I just purchased two books, arrived the other day, took about 3 weeks.
I love 'Food and Stuff'. It's where I buy all of my food. And most of my stuff.

Don't you have an Aussie/NZ Amazon ?

I've been using the UK version for years now and probably place at least half a dozen orders a year for everything from books/cd's/dvd's to small electrical like mp3 player and printer ink when it's cheapest.

I have never, ever had a problem with them...everything arrives bang on time even though living at the opposite end of the country means they use about 4 different couriers to get stuff here.

Their 'wishlist' system is great...all my friends use it and makes shopping for birthdays etc a breeze and we each get presents we actually want :D

Couldn't live without them now and don't know how I managed before :D
