The team announced this morning will be vastly different from the team that runs on to the park tomorrow...

Matthew Clarke is 33 in September and probably the oldest debutant Glenelg is likely to have.

Hey, does anyone know who was the last player to debut for Glenelg who was older than Clarke :?:

good luck to "doc" clarke tomorrow with his new club.
he should be a valuable assett to the bays particularly with his marking around the ground and he's an absolute dynamo when the ball hits the ground as well. The conditions tomorrow should suit him to a tee.

My mail is the ebola virus, bird flu (naturally), bowell cancer and chicken pox have all hit North this week and I've heard the Grog Squad are the only people at Prossie fit enough to enter the Oval so we're still in the front in the "My team's crapper than yours" contest.

Agreed blueandwhite, you must have been at that game at Noarlunga too. (were you the South supporter on the Northern side of the ground or the Southern side of the ground? I always get you 2 mixed up).
Honestly, not even one of the 2 South supporters could delude themselves as to how valuable Clarke can be and if they do they obviously don't go to games especially the one I was talking about.

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I cheered for the Bays last year at the age of 34 for the first time in my life, does that count?

The viruses themselves end up worse off, after a stoush with the grogs...

steady up wedgie, it was a shallow attempt to bait a few bays. They will wait until he plays a blinder and then come in like the tide. I saw most of souths games for last year, unfortunately I didnt get there early enough to see how he was going in the magoos. the games he played for us in the league side were appalling, he did improve toward the end of the season but it was of course far too late for us.
Dont worry tomorrow down at what should be a balmy noarlunga I will have one ear on the score back at prospect -go you roosters~!!...?

Wedgie wrote:I rate Clarke, best tap ruckman Ive seen since Mick Redden, I also remember him tearing us a new one at Noarlunga Oval in the last couple of years when he took marks and got kicks and handpasses everywhere on the ground.

I estimated there was about 3000 Bays fans at the last North v Glenelg game, be interesting to see how many of them attend tomorrow?

Lucky to be 600. In fact they wont get anywhere near 5/6ths of that

I would have thought the Bays are still one of the sides with a real chance at 5th spot.

Just like last year
That hasn't stopped the Bays spoiling the party at Prospect before, North will need to be at their best today to win

You can relax RM, approaching 3/4 time North 11 13 79, Bays 5 5 35.

We are going to have to do something special from here to get up....

Final score North 15 16 106, Bays 9 9 63.

firstly p!ssed off with a loss but happy that we fought it out even though it is highly likely North probably took their foot off the gas. But given that for most of the game North had double the socring the shots compared to us, to finish with 18 shots to 31 demonstrates we didn't throw in the towel like we did last week.

Well we limp into the bye, time to regroup freshen up we should have Douglas back next game against South along with Gibbs and sellar.

Game on v South if we lose that finals will be virtually out of the question even though still possible mathmatically....

the group of north supporters in the forward pocket at the northern end of prospect oval are a highly intelligent bunch of people who need to use F and C as there every second word, just shows the high level of education they got. they are an absolute disgrace and have made sure that i will probably be not returning to prospect oval in the future with at least 4 other people.

One guy in the group apparently has already been thrown in jail because of his behavior on a previous day, makes you wonder why the club would bother letting them back in.

i guess they need everybody they can get to there games.

That was the worst display of behavior from supporters from any club!!!!!!!!!
