There is nothing in the rules to say that being unconcious is a reason for hanging onto the ball for so long.
If I wanted to really go over the top I would have suggested that Rudolph be reported for wasting time - but the siren going saved him

It made the channel 10 news tonight - although they froze the action at the point of contact.
Salient points from the article are:
- they were apparently Central fans (though the lack of CDFC regalia suggests to me that they're finals bandwagonners)
- they will be prosecuted
- they've been barred from the Grand Final
effing morons. I only wish that Schell had been the one to tackle the bloke....
