I agree he is stiff, but would you put him in ahead of Laslett, Nicholls, Bourke, Dempsey, Paradiso, Choimes, Pead ? I wouldn't. Others stiff too, Nelson from Fitzroy (3rd in medal), Ross Bament, Koutsikas and Pitt from Mitcham.

Rumbles had a quiet year by his standards, was thrown all over the place this year, full forward, on ball not so much his at half back where IMO I think he is more comfortable.
