This field umpire in the reserves game today. Have we got an umpire exchange program going or something, every other umpire was wearing white.

That looks like a WAFL umpiring uniform.....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I could only assume that some umps in the amateurs wear similar and he got a late call up.
From memory I think the VFL umpires wear fluro green or something similar when I was at the VFL v SANFL game last year but you're right it does look similar (I think) to the WA Umps.

That's actually a Queensland umpire, as part of an exchange for one week with the QAFL.

The is an umpires board over here in Victoria (I think it is the Central Mallee League), that is being sponsored a company that makes spray on applications for fly strike in sheep (or something similar). The slogan on the back is, "XXXXX kills all white maggots".

I remember a couple years back, the Eags were playing at Norwood wearing our gold jumper, and there was an Umpire in yellow or orange. Had to look twice.
