R.I.P JOHN WAY

Postby ryles-kennels » Fri Sep 26, 2008 5:11 pm

Sadly on Wednesday at Angle Park battling trainer John Way passed away. After his dog had won the race he was awaiting for it to be swabbed when John collapsed and had a heart attack. Chief Steward Paul Marks done everything humanly possible in trying to revive John without any luck.

To Johns Family we send our condolences and to Paul Marks rest assured everyone knows you did everything you possibly could but as in life sometimes your best just isnt enough.

what a way and what a time to go. :(

condolences to his family, must have been an ordeal for all those who were involved and witnessed it.

he was a battling trainer, but his dogs were always consistently around the mark.

:(

Thoughts with the family, very sad.

I remember this happened a few years ago at the trotts... and I can't remember who it was... but the race had just finished and the person had a heart attack and died whilst still sitting in the sulky.

:(

Condolences to the Way family, and also to Rohan. Have worked with Ro for a few months now and he's a top bloke and from what he told
me about his old man, it's a case of like father like son.

RIP....
