Maybe he was actually indicating to the Grogs that he couldn't hear them while they had balaklavas on?

Maybe it is the Cunninghams Warehouse version of the Crows coaching helmets??
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

That's the trick, just a hint, don't abuse Hargy, he always does better when people are having a go at him and he absolutely thrives on it.
I used to abuse the crapper out of Greg Mellor and he used to always kill us, I never learnt too.

PS Best comeback from a player was Allo last year when he said he was going to come bash me in the league game (he was playing ressies), man that was funny. I miss him.

He kicked more goals than points. :?
And that one from in front of the Snouts was a ripper, you guys definately pumped him up for that one, thank you!

PS In all seriousness I thought it was quite a good come back from Hargs considering how long he'd had out and with him floating around CHF most of the day. 13 kicks and 6 marks I was happy with.

2 goals 1 point

(I forgive you as he kicked at least 2 out on the full)

Just on the game, reading the Sunday Mail and Advertiser write ups of the game can someone remind me who Glenelg played again as its hard to tell.
FFS Barich any chance you can dedicate a bit more than 5% of your articles to the team that won, is sitting top and has the better support???

I would have to agree with you here Wedgie. But I don't think it is just Barich, I think they all do it. I notice that Mondays article is often not much different than Sunday's.

Ron Fuller had a real crack at one journo in the Eagles "Coaches Comment" after we beat the pants off Sturt, they hardly mentioned the Eagles and he was not happy with the coverage given to the loosing team.

Is it something that the editors do to the story or, is it the journo's???

I just wish they would write more about how the game was played, tactics etc etc.

Yep I agree. If you didnt see the game and relied on the article, you would have no idea who played and how the game was won/lost! It's terrible. There are better journos on here (like Macca) and the North match day reporter on the Roost does a brilliant job as well. They write about who played well, what happened during the game.. not about the losing coach.

Yep, I'll second that. Macca on here has the only write ups I look forward to reading and unfortunately they're all Port games!

It seems all the journalists follow the same bland formula mainly revolving around coaches quotes. I would like to see the journo's cover the flow of the game. I want to read their opinion on when and how the game was won. Which passages of play were the highlights and of course as they do now with the best players and coaches comments included. Sometimes we might not all agree what is written, but if there was more depth to the articles I would start buying The Advertiser and Sunday Mail again.
