Luke, is that because the names youn have heard are just rumours, and you don't want to start spreading them further or do you really know who has been interviewed.
Of course, we do know of a few candidates, the local ones, but for high profiles i don't know how this info is getting leaked out, cause it shouldn't!

I agree KK... I think this kind of stuff should stay within the committee/selection people.

But I think you'll find that it's just rumour after rumour and some people just guessing and throwing names out there and looking for 'bites'.

I've looked at other threads in this forum from all over the state and the same thing is happening everywhere.

Quite true Luke.... because from what I've also heard there's been a 'record' number of applications over the whole club.

It's good to see so much interest.

Quite true Jelom :D

I've also found that all the rumours getting around - even if true or not - are a good way of getting peoples perspectives on the subsequent coaches.

I hear the coaching appointment is about a week away. There were a few late entries i think. . . . Leon Mc. . you tell me one club who have turned junior success into senior success and i will name you 5 who havent. Its not as easy as morphett vale make it look. . .Not all clubs have 100 juniors a season.

My mail is that McLaren will be announcing their A Grade Coach next week.
Three or four applicants were received on closing day. Not much being let out from their panel as to who has been interviewed. All I know is that they have had some exceptional candidates. Would think around 12

I hear this too Mr Magoo.

With so many applicants sorting through the applicantions and going through the interviewing process would be a big job.

Will be good to know the outcome but hope they 'take their time' so to speak, with so many to select from and come up with the right person not only for the job but also for the future development/influence in the club.

Which I have faith they will do.
