I will continue to be very diplomatic regardinng our performances and undersell us all season. It what i do best
In all seriousness though, it is always means more to have opposition teams sing the praises of your club/team.

Mate you would use would more cliches than all AFL players/coaches press conferences for a whole year...

I can't ait for the half-way point of the year, if GG are 8-1 or 9-0 we'll have the 'one game at a time' quote every week...

Ill pull it out for sure.
I lost count of the number of times i said "we have always maintained the position that greenacres are the best team in the comp"
8-1??? Can we fast forward??? Plenty of water to go under the bridge yet  (cliche count 1)
As long as the 1 in the 8 and 1 is not to you boys or greenacres ill be happy.

In all seriousness though, it will be good to have input from more than 3 peoplelike the Div 3 thread was last season. Couldn't stand listening to BH by the end of the year, and Shrek by about Round 3

That's alright Pag. Your season was over by round 3 anyway.
We were only one game behind you guys?

I'm gonna keep count of the cliches you use this year. Might keep it to myself at reveal the total this time next year.

Why us and Greenacres in particular?

Get the clicker out....the cliche count is on.
The only thing that would get more clicks is when Port Boy hits town on a saturday night

Well the greenacres rivalry should flourish again, as did the blackfriars one last year.
You guys are probably geographically our closest rival, we played and beat you in the trial last year (which our lads took great pride in, even though it was a trial), we respect you as a good footy club and team from what we saw, we expect you to be around the mark and Mitch and Eddie have a close relationship and im sure they will be looking to one up each other.

BB..just between you and me...I think both our teams will have to work hard in 09 to be moderately successfull..we played AL and Fitzroy in 07 and they were very good, I assume the teams they put on the park were similar this year and if so it will be a tough year.
Opinions and bumholes..you either have one or are one IMO

I agree mate.
If all goes according to plan, preseason will be bigger and better and a few more recruits will come to the club.
I dont think for one second thats is just going to happen but i think both of our clubs have the nucleus to be very competitive in this grade.
What i dont like is everyone rating us so highly early. We meet expectations, everyone goes meh, but if we fail, im going to be fending them of left, right and centre
