And observing from the sidelines he seems to be very supportive of his team mates.
If the Full Forward kicks a goal and Moll is at Full Back, he almost always will run the length of the ground to congratulate him.

You are a bit off the mark there A MUM
Last time Molling ran the length of the ground was at Mini League when he changed ends.
He would have punched more heads than he has punched footballs.
To his credit he has also taken a lot of hits.

He hits you...you hit him ...then you have a beer

Isn't that the way it should be

Exactly the way it should be mr. m.
A beer for each punch and we'd all be pissed really quickly.

Yes Steve Hill has the job at McLaren as A grade coach

But that having been in the 'rumour' mill over the past week with respect to Steve and the club I didn't want to go 'sprouting' off so to speak O:)

Soooooooo.......................

I am so excited by this.

I have heard that he will be working with the current group and up and coming juniors, rather than sourcing players (at this stage)

All I know about him is that he is a premiership coach from Morphett Vale....
so what can outsiders tell me about Steve ??

Hill was only applied for the job 7 days ago and it was decided last night. . . I hope he realises that despite how good Mclaren juniors have been, the club still needs to recruit 3 or 4 quality A graders. . . . . Mclaren is not Morphett Vale, and does not have 100+ juniors each season coming through. . . Recruiting is the key to playing finals footy next year. . Some work has already been done but more is required.

I'd also like to say:

=D> Thankyou to Steve Jaggard outgoing A grade coach =D>

Steve is a true club person and all round nice guy. I hope that he still makes his prescence felt around the club and especially gets around our junior side of the club as he is a fantastic teacher of skill, something that we need to keep at our club. People can relate to him and he's easy to 'talk' to.

So yes, just like to say Thanks Steve O:)

Congrats Steve and all the best for the coming season. Maybe a trail game on the cards with the boys running up the hill and down to get to the Shoe?

Will be interesting to see how he goes without inheriting a premiership side...

Will be a true test of his coaching ability

Good luck Hilly!

I've heard that he worked hard on the juniors etc at Morphett Vale and actually built/sustained a premiership side.

Yes/No ??

Morphies already had the cattle when he took over as A Grade coach, but I believe he was the B Grade coach when Pottsy was coaching the A grade

Steve coached an undefeated flag at hackham b's (thats right, hackham) in 96. went to emus in 01 i think and won b grade flags in 03,04 and 05 before taking over a's in 06. they won 06, and 07 and obviously lost this year. With the right people in the right places helping him out, including off the field, he will be excellent for the club. Good luck steve.

He coached alot of the current A graders during his B grade stint (Bayly's, Shrive etc) and isnt afraid to give the young players a go.

But yes he doesnt mind a tough pre-season so be prepared for that.

Think that you will find that all the clubs at the top put in a hard pre-season. With hard work comes success, if McLaren's are looking at climbing the ladder then they will have to put in the hard work.

Will need some recruiting to compliment the young side that is there already though.
