M/Park and Lonsdale
Any reasons offered for their negative votes?
NO
The twisties negatory is perhaps the most interesting. I can think of far more pro's (travel, hometown derby, higher % of city clubs voting at SFL exec committee, may improve attractiveness of league to other city clubs) than con's(possible increased competition between juniors - although I'm not sure how).
I caught up with a couple of Morphy Park people and asked them about their vote. They are not against Edwardstown coming in just they way in which it is being done. There is no timeline re bringing the juniors across, if ever for the Sunday minis as the EFC president was quite dismissive about this comp as being only a "kick and catch". How long will EFC stay in the SFL? Was there any stipulation they have to be in the league for any minimum number of years. To me it sounds like they are only having a peek by not committing any more than the A/B/U18 and if it doesn't suit them or they don't like being in the SFL then they will head back to the Amatuers.
Sorry no coments on any subject but just keep posting co's I just love your pick
