Coach, selectors have alot to answer for. No penetration in our attack, how they let Ryan Harris go is a joke. They can sit on tait and belt the others which doesn't allow Tait to be as threatening. Also Taity hasn't played much 4 day cricket in the last 10 months. He'll come good in the next few months so until then looks very bleek. Thats what you get for having coaches who have never played first class cricket.

I've said enough about this topic over the years, last season I finally gave up hoping the SACA will address the problems with SA cricket. Coaches have come and gone, all of them have made similar suggestions on how to improve cricket in SA ... all of them have been sacked rather than address the problems. So long as they can sack a coach, they think they are doing something positive. We're just going through motions these days ... very disappointing.

As someone else said ... it's going to be a lonnnnnnnnnnnng season for the Redbacks.

The scary thing about this match is that our bowling has been the better part of our game over the past few seasons. Our worst part of our game is still to come. :(

Oh well, gotta stay positive i spose, i remember in 1987 Tasmania got smashed for 3/643 at Adelaide Oval against SA and Recovered remarkably well to WIN the Shield 20 years Later.

Was surprised Wise wasn't in the XI. has a far better bowling record than Cleary and Rofe, although he has had the pleasure of bowling to the redbacks! what might've cost him a place in the side is the fact he doesn't know which end of the bat to hold. and without R.Harris, Gillespie and Bailey in the lower order it would've been a long tail with Wise in the team.
