I've also heard the same Juicy, however the 2 in particular we are hoping to have come back are looking very promising, i'm sure the almighty $$$$ will talk to a few players... I've heard $1000 per game... That is absurd...!!!

Tell me why these clubs that are offering so much cash, why are they chasing M/Vale players. If they have this kind of money too pay why would'nt they chase players for example from the A1 competition or even league or reserves players.Dont get me wrong i for one rate the emu players very highly but i would have thought there would be alot better players around than just at M/Vale.

Comes down to proximity. a) M/vale players are an hours drive closer b) I've heard league players getting $700 - $1000 to play in leagues much closer to Adelaide c) If you're getting $500 or $800 to play at South, an extra few hundred extra each week isn't worth the hassle of a 6 - 8 hour round trip.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

The field is less than 4, some very impressive candidates, hopefully an announcement will be made soon...

Keep reading about morphie players leaving the club i cant understand why all i have seen is that they lost a grand final this year and now everyone has them in dire straits,i mean they belted brighton in the prelim and seem to just have a bad day at the office on grand final day ie geelong.I for one cant see morphies dropping to far at all and surely they would still be in the top three favourites to win it next year.I know theres been a few exists in the coaching department but the structure is there along with a good junior program and you would think who they get to coach the club will be more than qualified to take the reins and keep them going.

Too early mate, i only found out Monday that Dale was leaving... First and foremost, is the correct selection of the A grade coach and then the B grade job will be looked at then, atleast the A grade coach can have a major influence who will coach the ressies...

With both senior coaches gone we may get an indication on who kept m/v on there fantastic ride over the last 5 years. Was it the class of the previous senior coaches over that period or was it the talent they put onto the field over the 5 years? Only time will tell.

I'd say good juniors with good senior links.
Stable committees with everyone on the same page.
And plenty of reliable die hard supporters / volunteers.
I wish we had all that.

Whats happening at Reynella, I hear there might be some players on the move. I guess its time to pull out those Teac plasmas to get the boys to stay.

Teac Plasma's are getting pretty cheap these days.. I would imagine it would have to be one a week to stay on considering the $$ on offer in other leagues for quality players.
