Did Trent Murch or Owen 'Oggy' Lewis play in any grade for Tanunda on the weekend?

If SCCC do not pay thier players to play why is it Lee Ratcliffe informs everyone who will listen that he gets paid by the Cocks to play and coach at SCCC.

Owen says he is too busy to play on a regular basis. Probably correct as he makes the best pizzas in the Barossa and is always busy.
This forum very quiet and civilised compared to the footy ones.
has anyone heard much about the upcoming Masters tour when the Australian Country Championships are on in the Valley in January- eg Sportsmans Night, coaching days. I know they are playing a team of the carnival in a 20/20 at Tanunda on the Sunday, but that's about all.

Would think that favourites would probably be Nuriootpa, Kapunda, and Tanunda. Would actually be suprised to see winner not come out of these three.

Then a relatively tight bunch of sides sitting 1 - 2 games behind these three sides.

Boh Wall at Tanundas been making a lot of runs - at least early with a 200 and a 99.

What happened to Gilbert Valley... are they missing players???? Boh Wall is a class act and ill love to see him come back to town again... I would have thought Kapunda's bowling would let them down a bit????

Gilbert are a good side at the top end, probably lack a little depth compared to at least Nuriootpa and Kapunda, but they are a hard side to judge on where they will finish - they have been bowled out for a few low scores this year which woul;d be the concern. Kapundas bowling is strong enough, and they do have a solid batting lineup. They have a lot of finals experience.

I've thrown Tanunda in based on results to date and their apparent batting strength and recent recruiting from Lyndoch.

I hope they get back up there... James Vandy is the best bowler in the comp by a country mile even at half best, mullins although not pretty too watch gets the job done!!!!
I thought tanunda may of had to recruit to be handy... Boh cant get them all off his bat.
