Chasing this target will not be that easy...

Hopefully we can get them all out soon to minimise the target and maximise the overs!

7 down :D

Over 32.1: Tait to Quiney, no run, OUT, too short down leg, gets a glove and he's gone, great catch too -- 7/97, Vics very nervous -- 213 lead, wow Redbacks right in it

Really need to finish them off quickly now.

Good to see a team the Redbacks are playing stuck in this situation, rather than them!

Are we capable of chasing 220-240 in two sessions though? I can't say I have faith in us scoring quickly without losing regular wickets.

Vics ton-up. 7/100

Of course if the Backs clean up today I'm going to look silly LOL. Or should that be sillier?

I tell you what if we do manage to get te last 2 wickets quickly and have the best part of 2 sessions to chase 240-250 the decision to leave Cosgrove out could be one we very much rue.

Surely they wont open up with Harris & Plant? Guessing we will need 260 off of about 70 overs. Need to get some aggression up the order if we are any chance. Manou should take a risk and chuck himself in at the top.

I like that, either him or Klinger. I couldn't see Manou lasting too long though... last thing we need is an early wicket.

Regardless of what happens from here on in the SA side can take a big postive out of their performance with the ball in this innings. Some very encouraging signs. To have a batting line up as strong as Victoria's 9/137 is a great effort. They are not taking lunch by the way as the Vics are 9 down. That could buy us an extra 10 minutes hopefully. Need to get this last wicket as cheaply as possible.

Gee Younis would have been handy today...instead he was wasting his time playing a T20 against Canada!

Can-a-da?? A T20 too?? What a joke. If it was a Test or ODI I wouldn't mind but how pointless is that game??

What about Cleary to open second dig and plant drop down? cleary opens for his local side and is known to score quickly? harris can play the defensive and attacking mode if needed...i think its a good switch to the top of the order

What about Borgas at the top? His confidence would be shot after yet another failure. Manou should tell him there's nothing to lose and to go out and have a crack. If we lose a couple of early ones and he comes in at 5 he's going to be as useful as tits on a bull.
