I reckon leave the Parklands alone!

If they put anything there, they are going to reck it all!!

This I think is the mission statement of the APPA

Apparently they are the length of the range of a French 6 Pound Cannon.

There you have it then, I think this is the sealer to leave the parklands alone.
It is easy to imagine such a situation:

"Napoleon, Napoleon...zere eez a problem with ze seige of Adelaide!"
"What eez eet Murat?"
"Our cannonballs, zey are falling harmlessly short of the ceety! And yet eef we move zem closer, zey will be wizout ze cover and ze Adelaidians shall deestroy our cannons wiz zeir cannons!"
"Mon Dieux! How eez theez happening to us?"
"Mon Emperor, ze Adelaidians, zey have designed zeir ceety weeth a beautiful green belt of green parks wheech compleetley surrounds ze ceety! Zere eez nowhere to protect our cannons in all ze greenery!"
"Sacre bleu! Who are zese far-sighted Adelaidians of which you speak? Een France we have feeled our parks weeth cafes, skating areenas and racing-tracks wheech are very unpopulair, yet zese people have shown great sense in leaving a practical space to use however they like!"
"I admire zem greatly Mon Emperor!"
"Yes, me too, let's leave thees place and **** off home, we are no match for zem!"
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

I liked the Adelaide parklands when I was a small child and people grazed horses and cows in them.
Bring it back! A chance for city kids to know what animals are.
I just wonder if the animals would be safe these days... :(
