GDP FRI 24 + MON 26 + harness harp

Postby mal » Thu Oct 23, 2008 10:08 pm

I will give up posting on SAFOOTY until 2009
IF
RACE 5-6 CULLTON wins on Friday night
CANT WIN
Suggest if anyone is fortunate enough to lay this horse on BETFAIR at below $101 to do it

CHARGED ENERGY
Was incredibly if correct entered for FRI/SAT/MON this week
BAYMAN informs me a Friday night race it was entered in was deleted on the programme
Can this amazing horse do it again ?
On Monday it will be having its 7th run in 18 days
And its 4th run in 8 days in SA on Monday [5th if the friday race was on]
SCD/BAYMAN/JACKPOT JIM will be salivering if it backs up + wins this week
THIS IS ONE HORSE THAT THRIVES ON BACKING UP !

FRI GDP
Tough meeting to assess
tooooooo many ex NZ/QLD/VIC horses first up in SA

as for charged energy, he's just keeping him fit just like when bradman said i keep fit by running between the wickets (rather than train  )

same reason you doubled your weight when you retired from cricket ....

DAMES PRIDE
Was disappointing last run, and has excuses ?
But have heard it was injured /sore and is now retired ?
Wonderful frontrunner when right and one of my favourite horses

FRIDAY PREVIEW

124
CANT WINS
R2-8[$17]
R3-9 [$21]
R5-6 [$101]

17
JOEYLAYS [RISKS LISTED BELOW $11]
R6-9[$7]

Could not find a standout selection for the meeting
Toooo many NZ/QLD/VIC ex horses running first up for the new SA stables
That means I had to refrain from races 1234
That left 3 races but still could not find one

JOEY
Where is he ?
17 in a row now

Why didn't they nominate Roycie for the popular alm sprint, it'd be Conte's best chance of beating 1 home, cos that bascily all he's beaten lately?

Just a warning for the club
MONDAY meeting
Personally I would increase the catering staff, order more food, stock up on more beverages
The TAB need to increase thier staff to avoid delays
I beg to the club to be prepared
You have to plan when you have the peoples champ
R1-2 On The Rocks running ....

I believe they r saving Roycie for the "Cantfuknholdit Cup" being run at the valley next week, thats following the "Wontfuknscoreup Plate" not sure of his plans after that.

It's a lot better to have a go than do nothing at all. What's your claim to fame Zahov? The boys could do worse, they could end up hosting a community radio show.

trying to look for value i like

r1 no 1 e/w
r4 no 5 e/w (please don't get lost this week gina, go forward & either lead or sit in the death & win) you are due for a rare good drive
r6 no 3 e/w i think it'll find the lead & may be hard to catch despite the distance

i'll be backing R6 - 3 control e/w all up R7 - 7 Lady Bellanique a win

And for anyone else who backed Bye Bye Bridey e/w or for a place....
R Bryant would be a $0.75c favourite to win the Golden Mallet award this week... (i'll even make it a LATE SCD before Mal gets on)
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined

i wonder whether ?'s will be asked of a certain driver after race 5, he was behind the leader, came off sat 1 by 1 & ran 4th   , the horse that took the position behind the leader ran 2nd.

it isn't rocket science so why do we see these incompetant mistakes over & over again ?

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF ANY ?'s ARE ASKED OF THIS DRIVE PLEASE

GRANTED, as i said i was looking for value, but gina bell at 5/1 is not value, not that she did anything wrong tactically in tonights race as any horse with any driver can 'skip' away at the start

i should add that when it is a split second decision i can understand a driver making an error in judgement but tonight he thought about it for over a furlong & still made the wrong move

as i said will ?'s be asked ?

The drive on Bye Bye Bridey was an absolute gem.
The driver [Ricky Bryant] should be forced to watch the replay 50 times until it sinks in that incompetence isnt acceptable.
Will the stewards say anything - only if someone sits Gerard down and makes him watch it 50 times as well and then the penny MAY drop.

G it wouldn't matter if he watched it 100 times he had time to think about it & still made a blatant error, i just want to know IF the stewards ask questions, if they don't that is even worse than the drive
