I heard some disturbing news that the financial position at Pooraka is again not in a healthy state. Seems a similar story to predicaments that have been a problem in the past.

Not sure if Pooraka have finalised their coach yet, but would be close. Three in the running I think. Won't mention names.

Gees havent had a look on the computer for a while as been enjoying the off season but 31 pages of banter already what a welcome to the Div 4 09 thread & its not even November yet!

Welcome to Salisbury, Salisbury West, Greenacres & Golden Grove as look forward to the new rivalaries & knocking a few beers back after each game!

Way too early to make predictions as pre-seasons havent even started for most AFL clubs let alone Div 4 but last year this was a fairly even with a lot of results by less than a goal or two except the bottom side no offence & season '09 is shaping up to be a ripper as well!

*Golden Grove should have confidenence 3 Div's in 3 years is a great effort & will be competitive!
*Greenacres have improved a lot from a couple of years ago & showed they can match it with Golden Grove!
*CBCOC didnt have great depth last year but are good on their day & were up in Div3 2 years ago! Good Luck Jars!
*Adelaide Luthuran are up & down & will play for the "Alma Hotel Cup" against PAOC as both are sponsered by them!
*Pooraka were the form side at the half way mark & can be dominant just depth to cover injury is their main worry!
*North Haven will go ok if they can keep hold of all their young guns to help Wattsy (league leading ruckman) & co!
*PAOC well Should of, Could of, Didnt in '08! A Div2 club few years back & play good footy! Welcome aboard Roo!
*Salisbury West blitzed all in Div4 3 years ago, have very strong juniors & should see the rewards from this very soon!
*Sailsbury will no doubt again be a force in Div4 as they were dominant when last in this Div a couple of years back!
*Fitzroy well we will just have too wait & see as they boys had 8 games in '08 that were decided by under 2 goals!

How the look of a Div changes as last year was a lot of college sides but this coming season looks very even & we will be back to a good hard physical brand of footy played by most sides so good luck all in '09 & GO U ROYS!

C'mon Lion !!! You can't afford to lose contact with the forum... we've had rumours, death threats, coups, AFL recruits, more death threats, premiership nominations, relationships and babies on this thread in the last few weeks !!! Stay with it my friend...
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Yeah i know Choccies there is more action on this than the Melbourne Under World as even the Portland boys cant get enough & i was still living in the old times of the Div4 '08 but have now found it & thanks for bring me up to speed champ lol :)

Congrats on the new kid Felch but still no Jnr Felch to follow in his old man's footsteps at Thunder Park?

Oh is there any thruth to the strong rumour going around that Edwardstown will be joining SFL in '09? If so that would mean Salisbury stay in Div 3 & Unley find their way back to Div 4???

Can anyone from Greenacres confirm what their budget is for next season, I've heard that they have unlimited funds and have been told by North Adelaide that they want them in Div 1 within 5 years. Already offered 2 players from a div 3 club over $800 a game. Another Kilburn situation?

sorry, thats ridiculous... that would give them the fastest move up the divs since Woody Sth..

Why wouldn't they spend their money at Broadies, who are an established div 1 team needing a bit extra to get back there?
