Got a feeling this Hewitt may have played for WA against SA this year?

How does Joketon survive? There should be a plunge on Joketon to put him out of business once and for all if he is so bad.

He survives because the SANFL only forms a small part of the business. Most of the money is won (or lost) on the AFL and other sports where he can blindly follow the lead of interstate bookmakers and doesn't have to do any research himself.

Magarey

Postby Squawk » Wed Jul 12, 2006 12:11 am

Just had a look at Wedgie's post on premiership/magarey odds. Joketon has Kris Massie at $31 and he's played all of a couple of games for NFC.???

On the NFC Forum we have Bryce Campbell in the lead for best player (albeit with a dubious voting system) but he has been good all this year. Other good players have been Gavin Hughes (who withdrew late from the state game), Brett Zorzi (unlucky not to be picked in the State game) and Nick Jackman.

Well the Magarey market Thornton currently has on the site comes to 290% and that is without even including genuine chances such as Archard, Younie, Logan, Poulton, McConnell etc...

Plus if he reckons "B Eckerman" (sic) is $41 then there should be about 200 players with shorter odds than him, as Eckermann has spent over half the season in the reserves!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Well documented fact that his business has been financed by another
Bookmaker Steve CHURCHES. *This is actually on all betting slips/tickets
JOKETON is still involved in a working capacity for Churches, although
there is sufficient evidence that JOKETON still pulls a few strings.
Just the sheer incompetence still on display by this organisation proves
that JOKETON still has some involvement.

As ECKY mentioned GERMTON does vitually no research or form on the
various sports, he jis just a parasite allegedly bludging on the other bookmakers.

SQUAWK just log into his website http://www.thorntonsportsbet.com
And have a look under OTHER EVENTS and look at his Super
Heavyweight Championship boxing markets....and then you will
relise why we all call him JOKETON!

dot com dot au - found him though.

And, very funny! Still got Mundine and Green odds up and under a pretty big weight division I would have thought!

Also his Brownlow odds - K Cornes looks tempting at 100/1 - been Port's best player all year in a side that has been all over the place. Not many votes likely to get taken away from him by other Swampies, I wouldn't have thought.

thats a great way to make money lay bets & dont pay the winners

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

The game was the grand final EG V CD at aami staduim.

JOHN THIEFTON was betting on the first goal first quarter and at quarter time
there was a goaless quarter.
Sports bookies put up the field of players and odds and then have two more signs stipulating:

A: QUOTE OTHERS [quotes for players not listed on bookies display units]
b: NO GOALSCORER [ you can back no goalscorer in the quarter]

THIEFTON did not display the NO GOALSCORER sign and therefore should have been liable
to refund the punters money.
There were many irate punters who I personally calmed down and told them of thier rights.

This was just another level of incompetence showen by JOHN THIEFTON.

THIEFTON in the bookmaking fraternity is ,allegedly, a despised and disliked individual.

I just dont know what to call him, maybe a poll to adjudicate.

A...JOKETON
B...GERMTON
C...THIEFTON
d...THORNTON

actually i was talking about the 'how many total goals' in the quarter not who to kick the first & jt DID NOT PAY
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway
