Heard it could be an interesting AGM, competition for spots, first time in a long time.
Heard there is a youth policy at Aldinga , hope i can get a game next year, getting home at 3.30pm now instead of 6pm might help, haven't been to elizabeth in 6 weeks :D

You will get a game we need a solid backliner smashing through and delivering the ball lace out!!
Discipline will be big in 09, so you will have to control the biff 8)

Hot News

Aldinga football club elected the new committee for 2009 yesterday Stuart McCallum is the new president, great news for the club given he has been president in the past and he is a top bloke with a lot of experience. Well done Stewy we love your work.

Also without mentioning names all positions were filled with great club people, including two junior mums.

I knew these 3 players would go with Lynch, but to be honest why would they? From what I heard from atleast a dozen of your players is he can't coach, and one of the blokes going with him even though he is said to be a mate of lynch's was behind some of the back stabbing of Lynch. Can anyone atleast tell me how Lynch got the coaching job in the first place at Aldinga, let alone Onky.

Coached the Blackwood country B grade to a Grand Final before going to Aldinga. As for how he got the Onkas job, dunno. Rumour is he told them he was the Blackwood A grade assistant (central Hills) but who knows. The last time I quoted a rumour about him I was deadset wrong.

I am surprised that so many players are going to Onkas, though. I expected most of them would leave Aldinga but I thought they'd end up in the GSFL. Then again, I can't remember why I thought that. :?

What I want to know now is, have Aldinga got any new players coming IN? All I hear about is people leaving. Can someone fill me in? It'd be great to recruit some kids from the area. Would love to see the Sharks pushing for finals next year.

He's a gun when he's fit. Don't think he was this year. Should do well at Meadows.

Sorry, I meant 3 ex-Blackwood players. I knew Rosewall going to Onkas was pretty much a given - he works with Shane. Other players I've heard are leaving are Russell Hart (McLaren), Aaron Biglands (retired), Scott Hunt (South Adelaide, though I think he's still signing with Aldinga), and Theodosi Cotsaris (no idea where he's going).

Not sure where Dallas Pitt is going - I didn't even know he was playing next year, so no idea. I don't know about the Talbots either - last I heard, Nick was talking to Meadows, but that was about two months ago. And to finish the list of fisho-doesn't-knows, I also have no idea where Dave Bickmore is headed. :)
