Good to see we agree on something Sheik! for anyone that likes punting chat about footy I recommend they check out http://www.footytrends.com some pros are actually users of the site and give some good info and punting strategies...im having a crack at a Crows Drip at the moment trying to turn $100 into $1000, currently showing a $60 profit.

As for this weekend im going to be having a close look at http://www.bom.gov.au as rain is forecast for Melbourne and Adelaide so as Bayman says "tread warily" esp with some big lines this weekend.

My initial thoughts are - if dry - Saints to belt the bombers, saints are playing the G better than the dome this year. Cats to belt a young and understrength Power and crows to belt Hawks (although will be leaving this bet right until the the first bounce to see the weather and check the radar for any rain coming from the west) - if these are successful then will probably put the winnings on the bullies to cover the line against the blues at the DOOM. Havent been able to get my head around tonights game so might be a No bet as well as Lions/Roos, Pies/Dockers and Sydney/WC although WC are reasonable odds for a home game if you think they can play 4 1/4's.

initially

Postby bayman » Sat Jul 15, 2006 1:01 am

initially tomorrow i'm going 'to buy money on the footy' i'm going both adel & st kilda at the +15.5 in the tri bet it works out @ $1.38 so we'll WIN $380 then have a bet on sunday & yes some will go on glenelg as i think we can win & shouldn't be that long i would've thought we'd be between 1.80-2.10 while most will go on a couple of afl shorties that look easy winners in wb & c'wd
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway
