Who in Adelaide would have a Ferrari once Enzo Belluzo [from Frome Street] had died?
Who could you get to keep it working?

My British born Melbournite boss is amazed at the amount of high cost luxury cars that live in Adelaide. One less now.

Really, did he not step out and stroll along the streets of London?

There's a pub we head to most Fridays after work (in fact most days after work  :D ) just off Oxford St and at around 6:30pm the same arabs have their flash brand spanking new convertible Lamborghini raised up in their garage elevator, before thundering off down the road.

There's no shortage of Lambos, Ferraris, Bentleys, Aston Martins, Range Rovers, etc, etc. In fact a Porsche, BMW, Merc, Audi etc are quite boring and ordinary.

Perhaps per capita is more what I should have said. How many people live in London? Adelaide?

There are a few car collectors in Adelaide. There was a guy I knew there who had a late 1930s Jaguar SS100, a yellow Dino Ferrari, and the Maserati Gibhli Peter Sellars had bought Britt Ekland as a wedding present, among others.

I think when the tariff barriers were high you could get them in tariff free if you had owned them overseas for 2 years.
It makes less difference now tariffs are lower, but second-hand prices are lower overseas, or were when our $ was strong a few weeks ago.
