It pays to be in the know sometimes G.... I made money on the race and had a packet on Sea Battle too 8)

The tricky track killed a lot of backmarkers..... they had no hope.... If that race was run at Flem I can gaurentee big Mal wouldnt have crossed the line first.. HORSES 4 COURSES is the lesson learnt.....

That was exactly what Kav said yesterday - quite simply, he saidhe doesn't think that Whobetgotyou would've had any chance running down Maldivian on the straight - Whobegotyou would've been about 7 lengths behind Maldivian and wouldn't have caught it.

yet the times suggest whobegotyou would have won by about 10 lengths..... every race is run differently that is why racing is so unpredictable.....

Can't see me having a crack at you at all below, just having a friendly jibe at Punky who's under pressure to eradicate any past the post winners, he made a blue & was picked up on it.
Just for you though Fev, did'nt like the race this year & did'nt have a wager, sorry to dissapoint.

would have been furious if i was on PC, opie bosson should be made to swim back to NZ for that slaughtering. last on the fence the whole way, he didn't even try and get it out - never had a chance. owners would be irate, the horse was set for the plate and it never had a chance all because of a butchered ride.

It was a good ride if it was at Flemington and there was still 300m to go  ...... The horse was flying leading into the race but the track beat it.... I dont think any jock in the world would have won on it..... but I still agree Opie didnt do his rep any favours onj the big stage....
