Cunning, I have no idea which company you are talking about. Do tell? 8)
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

It applied to the whole industry before the mergers reduced the numbers of operators to a few who could talk to each other, according to my acquaintance.
He had started out with one of the minors and worked for two rival majors over some years before leaving. I don't think he would want me to say anything more specific.

Presser:

Allan Scott AO OAM

Federal Member for Barker, Patrick Secker MP today said that he is deeply saddened to learn that Allan Scott has passed away.

“He was an extraordinary man.

“He was an extremely successful businessman who built great businesses and created jobs in the electorate.

“He was generous to the community and his modesty means that the full extent of his generosity will never be known.

“As the Federal Member for the electorate of Barker in which Mr Scott lived and conducted his many successful enterprises, I convey my sincere condolences to Mr Scott’s family.

“I record my recognition and appreciation of the enormous contribution Allan Scott made to the electorate, South Australia and Australia.

“Allan was a truly great Australian and I was proud to know him,” concluded Mr Secker.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

You don't have to join in the chorus Goz but perhaps that comment is a bit inappropriate at this time.

I don't believe in ripping the hell out of the dead Chaser style but let's not pretend he was a good bloke just because he's dead now. He wouldn't give a rats if you or I had died and in fact would probably try and make money out of it somehow.

Hmm, now where did I do that Goz? Maybe he wouldn't give a rats if I was dead but my family would be if someone slagged me two minutes after I'd croaked it. Get it?
