all good points but i think you should only get the coin for a win.
Our boys get beer tickets for a win and nothing for a loss, this seems to work well, a few free beers to kick start a sat night.

beer tickets are a great idea IMO, that way all the boys stay together for a couple of beers, rather than blokes getting there 30 bucks or what ever it is and p!ssing off.

yeah you seem to get everyone up for pressies and then stay for a while, and alot then hit the city or the local together, so its also good for a bit of team bonding
i dont know if you heard me, but i did over a thousand

piccachu and port boy are right!
beer tickets and cash fi ya win, i believe thats what the A's get for a wina dn nothing for a loss!
B's should get a carton of beers after the game so they can have a few and hang round and watch the A's get over the line!!!

Hey Roaring Lion, Good to be back, I love this footy talk!

No i'm not Paul Dittmar, I still play footy for Pooraka in the A's.
Wattsy should be a great coach, I've spoken to him already and he seems to have some good ideas.
Because of the type of bloke he is we will see alot of players return, not just the A graders I have mentioned, but a bunch of players that will play B grade and bring that much needed experiance to our young reserves side.

Everyone else, I missed this Jarman thing with CBC, what's the go there?
Has anyone else heard of any big names leaving or joining Div 4 clubs in 09?

I have heard Sok will be missing for atleast half the season for the roys. Thats a big loss.
Obviously this Forth guy is pretty decent so he will be a massive loss for Greenies.
Oh yeah, I;m sure everyone has heard that the Big Mark Rupert Ricciutio will be playing 6-7 games for PAOC this year
because of the a sponsorship deal with the ALMA. Also hear Tony Modra will be playing also!

Rucciutio is also helping with recruiting, so I am expecting PAOC to be the side to beat once again!

Agree with rewarding the Bs. We've got a few students in ours who are perpetually short of cash. A few beers here and there really make them feel like part of the club. Should happen more often.

Our old B grade goal umpire Wombat used to donate his payment for the B grade to drink at the end of the year. Champion bloke.

Footy Follower, you guys definately need to bolster the depth of your ressies. No disrespect intended, but the talent gap between your A and B grades is huge. You guys were definately the best side we played against this year in the A's (first time, not second), but i would honestly say you were probably the worst team we came up against in the ressies, both times.

Yeah your right Felchy, a lack of depth did kill us this year, which is why you saw such a difference between our first half and second. We continuously fielded a very young and inexperianced side in the B's and when we needed to pinch a few from there to play in the A's it just made things so much worse.
I think at one stage we had like 4 players playing in the b's that were above the age of 21.

Ahhhhh.... what makes you say Goodwood?

Dave Bartel.. I wish! Not likely!

37... surely just playing under the great man was reward enough ?? Think of everything you have learnt from him and taken on your footballing journey since then ?? A fair dinkum footballing bible...
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Greenies give a club card to the A grade for winning games which we encourage the players to use for a meal and a couple of diet cokes :D
