difference with brighton to most other teams is people are there os they want to be not for money most of the players play for club dollars to spend over the bar. to pick up players you have to spend money and thats not what we are about

yeah but can you blame them when a club starts expecting to much of them when they just want to have a kick and catch. but it is a catch 22 situation in the fact you want to blood your young talent but when they only want to play with there mates what are you to do. you cant say play or we will banish you from the club. because then you are getting rid of a quality player.

Good to see some action from some Bomber supporters on here with ASERT and KEY DEFENDER.

No truth in targetting a gun forward. We could do with another genuine tall to help Brooky in the Ruck which will allow us to settle our front and back ends a little more.

Jim McIntosh played Under 14 in 2007 under the old rules so 2008 was his only year in the Under 16. He'll be Under 18 next year. He did play some Glenelg Under 17 this year but mostly got picked when the college kids weren't playing. He would have been a gun Under 17 next year but not sure where he will be rated as far as SANFL Under 18 goes. Its hard to work out Under 17 and Under 19 some times. I think SANFL clubs still are obsessed with the athletes on the chance they could get drafted which means $$$$$. Now with Under 18, some Sacred Heart kids would have already left school and they only need half the players they did for 19's and 17's, so local clubs should benefit from this.

Johnny Mac (who kicked his 100th goal in last quarter of U/18 GF) is the nicest lad you'll ever meet and just loves the Bombers and doesn't seem too fussed with higher honours. He did play a little bit of Seniors in 2007 but mostly Under 18. We decided to keep him in Under 18 in 2008 to avoid putting too much pressure on him. History shows with our club that an Under 18 flag gives lads so much more confidence with their entry into Seniors so we wanted to keep this side more stable in 2008, which paid off.

Grape Ape saw some facebook pics of the talent on show at the bomber's B&F. You blokes should seriously consider pointing some of this talent out to potential recruits. Could well seal the deal!! Wow! You lucky bastards.
