This is now the 200th week in which North have been at the top of the ladder during the minor round.

The top place in weeks are as follows:
Port - 546
Sturt - 234
Norwood - 216
North - 200
Glenelg - 135
Central - 131
West - 91
Torrens - 78
Eagles - 75
South - 65
Woodville - 2
Total - 1773

As a percentage of total weeks played by club:

Spelly does that include the amalgamations in the war years?

PITY it might have improved the West Torrens status.

Between 1921 and 1963 Torrens was third behind Port and Norwood in terms of being in the four.

Port were in the four for 563 rounds out of 681. Norwood were in there for 518 rounds and Torrens 403 rounds.

61 of those 78 weeks Torrens were at the top of the ladder came in this period, however, they were in third and fourth position more than any other team during 1921-1963.

Here is another ladder fact:

For 96 weeks between Round 21 2001 and Round 1 this year, Port did not occupy top spot.

This just broke the previous club record of 95 weeks - Round 20 1971 to Round 12 1976.
