Just a point on Cove and no dought they are a real power now in the SFL in all grades but what is it that they can not get a juniour cricket team on the deck? any info from Cove boys would be appreciated :?:

I know its not footy talk Shoe Boy but most Cove junior footballers play cricket for Sheidow Park. There was a story in the Messenger last week about Sheidow Park trying to get funding to support their expanding club. Some of the dads of Cove junior fotballers have been involved with Sheidow Park CC long before their kids started playing footy for Cove.

Anyone have any info on the Reavill boys out at Cove?

I know they may give League another go but if not they might not stay at Cove if that falls through.

Denis is a good coach, although he took on the roll with Yankalilla a few years back and wasn't able to do much with them. Hopefully this will be different, good luck to him in turning the Hawks into a competitive side again.

First of all Flanders - get yourself a Ned Flanders pic for your avatar... IMO there are too may Users on this site without easily acquired avatar pics!

Secondly - the Reavills are very handy players, and I THINK their dad/uncle is mixed up in the Cobras club somehow?? So I couldn't see them leaving, unless you know something we don't? Would be a HUGE loss for the Premiers if this happened.

Gary Reavill (Daniels) dad, is the Football Director at Cove.

The only talk I have heard is Matt may have another crack at Glenelg... Daniel definatly at Cove....
If Matt does not have another crack unfortunatly for the rest of the SFL players and coaches....They will be in Cove colours again along with the rest of the premiership team.
Ben Cameron unfortunalty only loss due to injury.......And i would suspect more improvement from the club with the refreshing of players a year of senior footy under some of the younger player (like other teams i know) and recruits
I suspect alot of other club supporters will be happy with this tho, Reavills in cove colours cos both are great to watch...

Doesn't seem appropriate for some from Morphie Park to be handing out advice but I'll take it on board Cheese Twisties.

Jono, I have heard that a few clubs from Amatuers have spoken to them, or are looking to, about making a move.

Ned,

I have no doubt any club with some cash and in there right mind should speak with them both... They are guns, however, they have very close ties with the footy club and unless its to play at Glenelg, odds on they will play at Cove... There a close footy club and group and there is a feeling one isn't enough for the group...

Yeah he is, Ned don't take his user name as meaning he is from Morphy Parks he just really hates chicken twisties.

Think you'd find both Reavills more than happy to stay at Cove especially after playing such a big role to get them to Premiers, maybe a spot of fishing for the ol Flanderino? Maybe get some posts up then start with the rumours they might seem more credible that way?
