Tom Logan has impressed me at every Bay game I've been to this year, I think this move has been too long in coming for Port. A big blow for the Bays.

Well one down two to go, well done boys, even though it was against a team we realistically should beat if we want to play finals footy it is good to win from being put under the pump in the last quarter.

Our playing group should take a lot of heart from this win as any time in the last five years a Glenelg side in that situation would have folded. To withstand the heat and then come back and pile on 7 goals in 8 mins is a big step forward for our club.

The challenge now is to build on this result. A win next week against West is a must. We must not take them lightly as we did against Sturt or we will get our arses kicked.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

it was magnificent Tassie, for a small crowd the grandstands were rocking in the last quarter, good hard tough footy and while quite obvious South had more talent on the field we just wanted it more which was pleasing

1 down 3 to go.

He was impressive going by the call and kicked a sensational
sausage roll on the 3/4 time siren.

I will PM DUTCHY to find out for both of us

As far as I am aware, Matt Graham is home grown talent.

Was playing Under 19's for the Bays last year.

Best debut for the club for many years, that I can remember.

I was 20 metres from that goal and I reckon South touched it, but look at the paper tomorrow and its a goal...was a good one but not as good as Douglas's mark right in front of the Grandstand in the 3rd 1/4....crows have got a good one there

MATT GRAHAM

About 19 kicks 10 handballs 12 marks.?????
The boy has an unusual hairstyle.
Looks like another Glenelg junior.
BAYMAN was very impressed with the kids debut.

Good work by the Bays as CUPIDO has been kept goaless
twice this year against Glenelg according to BAYMAN

MAL

I THINK you will find not only has CUPIDO been kept goal-less in two matches i dont think his stats would have reached double figures. he has had minimal impact in both games, the first time young Gibbsy gave him a lesson and yesterday it was Hinge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well done to the lads who battled very hard all day in wet, windy, freezing weather!!!!!!!!!!!! they were home at 3 1/4 time when they led by 19 points but the boys might have had the mindset that the wind was just going to do it for them. we got to 2 points down and never had a sniff of it but to come out and boot 7 goals in 8 minutes was amazing, couldnt have seen it coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

South are a side we should be beating if we are to play finals footy, twice this year they have been in front of us late in games and we have won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why cant there be 8 other teams that are like south?????????

2 from 2, with a big test as much in the mind of our blokes as out on the field. ATM, and judging by the "odds" on offer in "the gambling room" we are travelling better than port, but all form goes out the window at when they are let out on day release and travel down to Brighton rd.

This match shapes as season defining stuff for us, and could set up a run of five games in a row. However we don't want to get ahead of ourselves is the most important contest is our next one and if we approach it in a half hearteed manner we will get thumped.

And boys if you ever needed any extra incentive for playing well, just remember one bloke who didn't think we had the right attitude for the contest and work rate. Troy Butcher......

Once again all we ask is for 21 committed disciplined blokes, who want to do it for themselves, their coach and for the guernsey for each contest, minute, and quarter of the match....

three from three, um yeah I susppose I would have taken that if it was offered to me three weeks ago......

Another big three weeks coming up two away vs Norwood and Sturt then a toughie at home v North.

Could almost have a spot in the five sown up provided we continue to play like we have for the past three weeks (hard, tough commited, team football that adheres to the coaches game plan) with wins agaisnt Norwood and Sturt....

We aways seem to jag at least one win against North each season.....
