Looking for some opinion on this one, is the EP squad picked before a ball is bounced every year. We always hear the cry's of discontent that the EP side is picked on reputation and not the current years form. I find it hard to believe Brooksy has missed the side and another CHB/CHF from PL has been selected, no disrespect to player in question who is also a great player but Brooksy has been absolutely unbeatable all year. He's been PL's equivalent of Ben Rutten, streaks ahead of his nearest rival for a key defensive post (besides Moore but he's away) Play the year before, your damn near guaranteed a spot the year after....

I don't know the squad and wasn't in PL long enough to comment. Is that how it looks this year?
The Southern (?) team from over my way that I've been told a bit about seems to have chosen the lads I know of, on form. Too bloody disheartening for guys to be good enough but miss out because of someone's rep. Mind you, some guys are big game players, some aren't...

It's been picked fairly well, just thought Brooksy's was a glaring omission.

All I have heard is that the EP had a positive win / loss ratio and that Darren Gregory made State country. Also an injury might throw MM and premiership prices into a flurry.

The goodwin hamstring is a prime peace of meat and has to be nurtured. Those brothers train too hard. With the other favourite (MJ) from a team that would not be getting the 2 and 3 votes of late.... could the field be closing in..... whats everyones thoughts? could a pecker surprise?
MR $1.80
W $3
MP $3
any other team $21

injury reports from a less than reliable source so will post a bit more when confirmed.
On another note, the new Demons Bar at Windsor Avenue was opened on the weekend with outstanding results. Congrats to all who were involved, with possibly the best and most modern bar currently in port lincoln. Club has invested over $100k in the old members bar. 2 Plasma screens, all new furniture, new gaming room, Cafe D'mon lattes and cappas, brand new jarrah bar and fridges / glycol systems....very good stuff indeed.
