So is there any truth to the rumour that North Haven have had a clean out of some senior players, especially recruits from last couple of years, that have not lived up to expectations and are trouble makers. In order to spend up big like greenies, GG and PAOC apparently are. If these clubs are spending big dollars how do teams like salisbury compete who don't pay players, or do they and just live in state of denial.

do you have any names of these players that north haven are supposedly giving the axe to?

TBH havent heard about trial matches but dont think the knights would be on our list of teams to play...I think DR still has a soft spot for the club and would want to save you blokes any embarrasement

if salisbury are in div 4
they will do just fine
they beat PAra Hills the season before who pay a few blokes
salisbury seem to have a good junior program and blokes like playing for them so they hang around!!
teams that may struggle will be CBC, but they may get some quality cause of jarman
Fitzroy could be in strife cause they spent there whole budget on one player!!!!

That's right test. I was told last night we would be playing Greenacres. The only way DR will save any embarrassment is by not playing. If he does play we might just put a youngster on him with fresh legs to run him off his feet. Nathan McCammon or Vinnie Urbancic who won DR's trophy may want the job. Or maybe we'll get physical and put Lukey O'Neill on him!
