Greenacres would have originally had a long term lease on the oval/clubrooms. They would have sold this lease to Nth Adel. and had a term in there that NA would pay $x per year. If they are not completely stupid this arrangement would go on for a fair few years and not left at the goodwill of NA.

Tigers, $40k is a lot of money. The club essentially has no expenses apart from the football department. Add sponsorship and fundraising onto that and they are in a solid position.
