That's cool, I'm sure they were very happy O:)

I usually have freddo frogs, I love giving to the really little kids that come around with their older brothers and sisters, seeing the looks on their faces...so cute...lol.

But yeah, not this year :)

I wonder how many people 'Trick' rather than treat ??

...and slowly, Australia slides further towards becoming the 51st state

(just returned from USA, and the prevalence of pumpkins on people's doorsteps, in supermarkets, cemetaries, etc is amazing)

Christmas is just around the corner.

Halloween (big business here in the UK even thought it is really an American thing when all the thugs have a perfect excuse to make demands with menace on unsuspecting old folk))
then
Bonfire Night (an opportunity for all the morons to stick bangers etc through letter boxes or throw them for the dog to fetch)
then
Christmas. ( a time of pure overspending madness and idiot shoppers coming out fo the supermarket with 3 trollies full of food that will never be eaten. THE SHOPS ARE ONLY SHUT FOR TWO DAYS YOU IDIOTS)

I remember similar scenes around the 'millenium bug' time.

Also seeing some supermarkets were stocked right up with candles and water

I suppose it's funny now, but wouldn't have been if some of the predictions had come true
