Starting this week I'll be getting back into activating and strengthening the TA and iliopsoas. The pushbike will also become my new best friend. Gonna try and lean up before Xmas, will hafta start eating less too.

Is the iliopsoas a hip flexor?

Why do you need to strengthen that? Is it affected by OP?

I have heard about people with inactive as opposed to weak hip flexors. Performing an activation drill before exercising could be benificial.

How are you planning on strengthening them? I can't really see how you can place them through a range of motion under load or even if this would prove very benificial. Are you going to strengthen them isometrically or just doing drills like high skipping?

I've got a range of exercises for the TA and iliopsoas. Basic stuff like planks, side planks and then more complex stuff.

Should've resumed doing them weeks ago

I try not to do my plants either, it's just that they're so perty lookin'. My groin troubles get real bad when the roses are in bloom.
