hey guys, heads up from plympton.

Word from Plympton that possibly a few of the players that left after the '04 season where we made the prelim in div 4 may make thier way back to the club this season. Surely premierships are heading down park tce this year...

Read a bit that was posted a fair while ago re Gino and Shane Sinclair joint coaches, i witnessed it first hand, did not work, especially when both started playing again.

last years presentation at plympton when they announced it i knew it was going to be no good forr the 08 season for gino and shane to be joint playing coaches. i knew it wouldnt last that long. also we ( plympton ) dont pay players to play so will be interesting when these players from 04 seaon come back they might ask for coin. when they find out we dont pay players they might get a shock

i will confirm again darryl ( will be at hope valley in 2009) he rang me this morning and said this bulls--t was on the forum about him,after a phone call from his brother. told me he hasnt applied to coach at ingle farm or anywhere else and is very happy with his role at h.v.hopefully this is the end of this subject.

Hopefully they don't back down on not paying players, can't tell me that anyone in div5 deserves a cracker!! Best thing we ever did was get rid of all the money hungry players and recruited players that wanted to simply play for plympton.

that is honestly not what i was told, and i am not trying to stir the pot, i was told that by a person who i thought would have reasonable info..its no shame if you did..hes a very good player..how did he arrive at plympton?

I think I'll keep it to myself until a decision has been made. Not sure if it is really my place to say. I'm not even sure if the story I heard was real.

Majority of clubs at board level tell the general people at the club that people do not get paid, its common sence,what people do not know will not hurt them. It's a common business trait that you do not disclose what you earn to other employees and to run a succesful football club you need to run it like a business as they say. No shame if it does go on, good football side and it will only get better imho.
