Read a bit that was posted a fair while ago re Gino and Shane Sinclair joint coaches, i witnessed it first hand, did not work, especially when both started playing again.

last years presentation at plympton when they announced it i knew it was going to be no good forr the 08 season for gino and shane to be joint playing coaches. i knew it wouldnt last that long. also we ( plympton ) dont pay players to play so will be interesting when these players from 04 seaon come back they might ask for coin. when they find out we dont pay players they might get a shock

This is pearcey we are talking about people....rumours are always rife! I'd tend to believe what TT has said!

Hopefully they don't back down on not paying players, can't tell me that anyone in div5 deserves a cracker!! Best thing we ever did was get rid of all the money hungry players and recruited players that wanted to simply play for plympton.

Its reaping rewards, good young kids.

your not sure? then how can you be sure the club doesnt pay anyone else?? there might be 10 players being paid for all you know. one minute you say no one gets anything, but then admit you have no idea about smith.

maybe if you read the post correctly there champ i said NOT sure what he gets or IF he gets anything. when i say plympton dont pay players i am going by what i have been told by members on the board. i dont give a rats arse if anyone gets anything. when i state something about payments ( if any ) im going by what i have been told. also all players that i played footy with at plympton have told me they dont get nothing. surely if a team mate says this to you anyone would believe them.

I think I'll keep it to myself until a decision has been made. Not sure if it is really my place to say. I'm not even sure if the story I heard was real. :-#

Majority of clubs at board level tell the general people at the club that people do not get paid, its common sence, what people do not know will not hurt them. It's a common business trait that you do not disclose what you earn to other employees and to run a succesful football club you need to run it like a business as they say. No shame if it does go on, good football side and it will only get better imho.
