Heard there will be an exodus of player from the towns but they are making up for it by trying to recruit every man and his dog.

Interesting post Hack... Out of EFC's best 30 - 29 have agreed to terms... If you are so well informed who is 1/30?
Who are EFC targeting I've heard they are keen on 12 only and are hopeful of being successful on 4-5 out of the 12...

Towns will be a top 4 side, realistically if people think otherwise they are kidding them selves. Here is a club that has been no lower than 5th in div 2 for a very long time. They know how to win and against good teams on a consistant basis and will be around the mark. That is going to be fact, however I will not beleive they are in the SFL until I see them shape up rd.1

yeh i'm with you there LK, if that post was directed at me. i was only saying another 2 wins if there is an exodus and townies end up having overweight alcoholic hillbillies pulling on the boots.

in no way was i saying that they aren't a quality side and will continue that form in the SFL. sorry if thats how it came across.

If Townies have the same sort of side they had this year, they will be top 4. If you tink making Div 2 finals or playing Div 1 each year isn't good enough to finish in the SFL top 4, you are dreaming.

Top 4 sides yes, though I'd highly doubt Cove would beat Modbury. After top 4 it drops of significantly....

Also they are trials, gives you a bit of an idea if a club is truly going to struggle that year but it's not a true indication of the standard of that league or division. We beat teams 1-2 divisions higher than us all the time in trials, but come rd 1 we would not get near them......
