Ok Shrek, keep up the good work. I'll go back to scratching my ass and wearing the wife beater.
Has anyone seen Sammy G, the KING of Teringie.

I had a massive parmy at the Tap Inn last night, sensational. Washed down with five imperial pints of Heineken.

Making you all look terrible aren't I?

I'd be jealous if I hadn't BBQ'd some Mulloway and chased it with a Sparkling. Did you have a hit of golf, that would've burned some carbs?

That would have put you on your arse Pag.

Anyway, it's not your fitness that needs work. It's your kicking.

I did Quichey, am not much of a golfer though.

It's my drive that needs work Shrekky boy, not my fitness or kicking. Might have to frequent the Tap Inn more regularly. Seriously, the food was amazing.

Well after reading all of these inspiring posts of fitness, bio-mechanics, golf and great schnitzels I would like to report that I ran for the first time last night and it was the hardest 4 laps I have ever done. Someone has possibly increased teh size of our oval from the standard 400m to 1500m ??

Will try again tonight but will definitly have the ambulance on stand-by just incase....
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Maybe they could modify the driving range to be a kicking range. Put some targets up Baby blue= good; black & white = bad.

400m is a small oval. I reckon Kilburn's is 500m around.

You think? I would have thought that if you have that accurate a number you'd be more certain about it.

Didnt they recently shorten it at the western end by x amount of metres to allow for new cricket nets?

Well that's what it says on the fence outside the home changerooms, so I'm assuming it's accurate.

I think the oval has stayed the same FC, the fence and practice pitches in the south-western pocket have been pushed back so the pitches don't clash with the oval anymore.

Hit everyone's favourite today, the bench press. Weighed in at 90.5kg

100kgx5
105x5
110x4 spotter had to touch the bar through my sticking point on rep number 5 so it doesn't count. Bar went up easy after that. I screwed up on the last set though, set myself upwrong and my head was off the edge of the bench.

One arm Arnold press(shoulder press)

30kgx7 each arm
32.5x5
32.5x5

T-bar row

60kgx5
62.5x5
65x4

dumbell pullover

50kgx5

Hadn't benched for a while but while use today as a benchmark. Since the goal is to get my front squat stronger than my bench I'll set the goal as 110 for 5 reps. Gotta get there before the first game.

Hamstrings and glutes are twitching randomly after yesterday's effort. I'm not sure if that is a good thing. Will do plenty of stretching and foam rolling tonight.

Love how everyone always asks- how much do you bench? I always tell them it's not how much you can bench, but how much you look like you can bench. I'd say 70% of people who do bench press have incorrect form/technique. It is a pet hate of mine seeing young blokes trying to bench 100kg and bouncing it off their chests or being helped through every single repitition!
