And here's the gen on Elder Park.

Dunno if you can have a beer there or not, but to me, sitting in elder Park watching AU live on the big screen playing in the AC Final, seems pretty bloody good to me.

Wish I was there. :(

Hey guys. Pumped for the game tonight!

Is anyone still looking for a ticket? I bid on e-bay for a ticket for my dad, then got him one, but just checked my e-mail today and I got a ticket for $100 which I don't need any more. A few of my mates who would have taken it got tickets yesterday as well as they were on the waiting list.

If anyone is keen send me a PM or give me a call on 0412040778. Even if you are willing to pay a bit less than that for it that would be better than nothing. I can just make up the difference.
Don't be scared. Now is not the time!

Gonna be a hot day for the scarf. Hopefully the Japs wilt in the heat (or the flys pi55 them off).

Will be a HUGE night !!

I am getting more and more nervous as the day goes on....I have already been for 3 nervous wees

We (my wife and I) will be in the northern end, on the main stand side tonight, I will be wearing my god awful (thanks parents  ) Red Machine shirt, with the yellow piping shrike (or whatever it is called) on the back... Father Christmas had better bring me the right shirt this year, or there will be trouble

So if you see a slightly rotund man doing the wee wee dance before the game in the previously mentioned shirt, then it is most likely going to be me....

I'll be the skinny legged beer gutted bloke in Liverpool "Road To Istanbul" T-Shirt and Liverpool Cap (yeah I know, but it's still Red to STFU  ) .. No diea where I'll be standing, probably wherever we can get.

Either way should be a good party tonight and celebration of two excellent teams/clubs!

And as Billy Brownless would say "FROFFIES!!" :D :D

Unfortunately for me, I cant get into the FROFFIES. But I intend to stand behind the goals near the red army. The two times i have been, there have been all goals at my end.

I have been watching Liverpool vs AC Milan Champions League 05/06 Final and thought, can Adelaide do what Liverpool did and come back from 3 down to take victory. There are alot of similarities in the two games

Crikey, that was funny, I thought I'd sit down and watch the game, warned Mrs Wedgie she'd be missing Spicks and Specks at 8.30pm.
5 minutes in and the match is over, ahh well, I have things to do, 6ers dont look much better but at least have more chance.
Gotta feel sorry for the poor bastards that paid good money to go. :?

just flicked over from the cricket & adelaide are 2-0 down after 18 minutes, obviously outclassed by a better team, overall though i thought they did very well to get where they got to

Lets be honest, this proves 1 of 2 things, and make no mistake sensational effort by the reds to get to the final but,

1)adelaide were lucky to get to the final

or

2) the A-league is no where near as good as what people think or say it is as gamba osaka are 7th in the J-league

just my opnions, be kind as i dont know SFA about soccer

By the way its 2-0 after 34 mins when i wrote this
