Nah brett hasnt and wont sign on with TV, as competitive as they will be next year i think he has other committments to think about as well..
Very talented prospect though!!

SJ no doubt would have some contacts having being involved with many clubs. Walkerville, Gepps Cross, TTG, Hope Valley, Golden Grove, Birdwood, Angaston and now Maccelsfield. Will he be bringing any Birdwood blokes over the freeway?

if you count m.danielle as birdwood...than yes.. but then again gaza, kangarilla and angaston have just as big a claim on danielle as birdwood do..
apart from that.. i'd be surprised if there were any.

with kreig and a number of other quality recruits signed up the boys are pretty pumped for some wins, after a tough 2 years.

You got the players Chicken man!! Now its time to get a real coach to guide them ????????

Our current coach is light years ahead of the previous coach we had.

You have a crack at me for APPARENTLY (you still haven't proved it) taking a cheap shot at SJ and you're on here dribbling little snipes at our current coach while still cowering behind YOUR keyboard. Pathetic!!

Gimp... don't bite... SJ has proven himself to be a big talker in regard to bringing numerous big name players to clubs in his 'club crawl' and really done nothing. We are still waiting for all the guns he was supposedly bringing to GG...... Just dont bring yourself down to his level or you may as well register for finger painting at the local community centre...

Any idea what sort of coin the man is getting? Surely he'd be worth a couple hundred a game. About as solid as you get as a key defender in Central Div. Defender being the operative word there, don't get him near the goals, he can't kick for sh*t!

Nah, Coops didn't spit it. He was obviously disappointed not to play in the A-Grade GF but he hadn't been able to train much in the latter stages of the year and was dropped for the first final. He and his dad now own the fodder store out there at Torrens Valley, where he also lives so he's decided with all the travel it's just easier to play out there. Plus it's probably a good move in terms of the business.

Think you will find they are chasing Jacques' brother who is as big if not bigger than Jeremy and possibly another one or two. Also Coops is on a bit more than a "couple" of hundred.

There are lots of reasons to play for GH when you are a very handy CHB Dash..... I think Coops would have done pretty well out of his move and figures have been thrown about in the local watering holes, but I wouldnt be surprised if he starts on a bit more. Ask him though... he should tell you!

You're not far off the mark there Banker, that guy loves to get cut. I guess when you look at it in perspective, Coops is probably one of the most solid key backmen in Div 1, so he's gonna be a fair player in Country div that is for sure. If only the guy got fit, you could run him through the midfield for sure.

Cooper originally came to Lofty as a mid-fielder didn't he? He is a very solid CHB or FB, but not a very happy one! He hates playing in the backlines, but that is what happens when you play well back there, you never get back out!

Round 3 April 25th/26th
Kersbrook v Meadows
Nairne Bremer v Gumeracha
Callington v Macclesfield
Kangarilla v Torrens Valley
Echunga Bye

Not much of a "rivalry round" I would've thought.

Rivalry Round? Both Divs games for next year look out of sorts for mine.

How's this Look

Lobey vs Birdwood
Mt.Barker vs Hahndorf
Onkas vs Uraidla
Lofty vs Bridgey
Ironbank vs Blackwood

Kersbrook vs Gumeracha
Callington or Torrens Valley vs Nairne
Echunga vs Maccelsfield
Meadows vs Kangarilla

It might produce some lopsided games, but historically probably the best in terms of Old Rivalry.

Seems the Great Man was after 2 blokes from the Southern Blues side. One received a better offer from a team Far East, while the other remained loyal and couldn't bring himself to play against his former team mates. 450 was a number mentioned.
