I guess being a Friday night and no doubt hot and dry over there they're all out gallivanting

This weekend for me will be a bit of a rugby union fest...tomorrow it's Scotland v South Africa followed by my beloved Ireland v NZ on television. Around those must sees I'll be mostly killing stuff  in an online game and messaging and chatting to friends. If I get bored with that then I'll pour a glass or three of red and dive into the cookbooks and plan the next preserving session...how boring does all that sound  but it's too bloody cold, wet and windy to go outside.

Regards
JAS

You sound keen then.

If the rain doesn't come... which it looks like it's not going to... then I think quite a few players might have trouble with the old shin splints come the start of the season :(

We were supposed to get rain this week and didn't get any.

No worries...RU isn't everyone's idea of fun...I'm worse with soccer...rather chew my own legs off than go anywhere near a game.

Yeh I think we can get most of the well known Aussie wines...although I confess I wouldn't know enough about wine to say which might be from your neck of the woods  and I tend to stick with the everyday plonk as the good stuff is wasted on me...I smoked for nearly 25 years so the taste buds are fairly shot so I can't tell the difference. On the up side at least that makes me a cheap date

Nice views around the town tough, lots of grape vines etc.

It is soooo good.

Spent 15 years working in a bank... and then was asked to 'fill in' doing the job from home... haven't looked back... said bye bye to the bank and started working at home... so good when the kids were little... if they were sick etc I could still work... still can get the washing done etc, etc... well... when I'm not on here too much that is !!! :D
