Will be handy at a young side like Flaggies think they need someone with a bit of confidence and strength, cos Saul Abbotts pretend tough routine just doesnt work.

Did he previously play for Edwardstown, about 6 foot, black hair, used to have dreadies?

Not sure if he played at edwardstown but that description does sound like him.

He tries to act tough does he? He is related to someone at Kilburn, not much chop if I remember correctly, B grader(might have been a fringe player) big mouth.

Yeah that's probably him. I have to admit though he has turned into a decent player I just can't stand his ego and big mouth. Has always been a bit of a stirrer which is good but as soon as the going gets tough he puts on his skirt.

Yep Saul used to play at Edwardstown, is good mates with Matty Golding I believe. Likes to use the mouth but I wouldnt have thought he 'acts tough' or has a big ego! His antics have sucked in some of the more 'mentally challenged' A graders over the years.
Dont think he pulls on the skirt when the going gets tough either Rodney- his best games this year were against the top sides like Morphett Vale, Reynella, Brighton and Valleys.

Obviously got under your skin though Rodney?

Ha ha yeah many times.

I have seen it before and many people have told me the same thing. Don't get me wrong it's not a personal thing against Flaggies I just genuinely don't like the guy on or off the field.....if that makes sense ha ha

Yeah got to agree with you MatteeG. Played with Sauly at townies a few yrs ago and never had a big head or tried to act tough. Even playing against him now dont think he's had a huge ego, been arrogant or try to act tough. Mind you this is only what i see when i play him. He may well be different to other clubs

TBB you could be on the money,Shane turned down an offer from Etown and they have come back with some coin that we just would not even cosider. He will meet again this Friday and discuss the offer and his training requirments or lack of.
So is it Dave Evans that is throwing some major coin around as he has in the past or Etown??
So I would say good luck Shane take the money and dont train just rock up on a Sat play footy and invest in security because it is a long drive back home with that sort of coin in your pocket.

That has the centre square covered, how much money are they going to pay for someone to ruck around the ground?

Spoke to Dave Monday and he told me Edwardstown are not blessed with big money so shoe boy maybe you should check facts before you cast dispersions, perhaps Comer wants to win a few games at a good club, thought of that as you blokes will not trouble the pointy end of the ladder in my opinion.
