Boys won't be used to a pitch doing something. How dare the ball move whilst trying to play a shot.....

Who's laughing? We might need the Leyland P76 to make some runs for us today.

Not much cause for concern here imo, will take our players an innings or so to get reaccustomed to the idea of a pitch actually producing bounce, by which time our class will show through. She'll be right.

Also, how much better a spectacle is it when pitches give someone aside from the batsmen a chance? **** off India.

Is this a by-product of coming off 4 tests on pitches that played like roads or is it good bowling by NZ?

Anyone got any info on Southee? I've never heard of him?

By-product you'd suspect. Doesn't matter how good you are, going from several weeks on what are frankly bull**** jokes of pitches to some with grass on them will be tough for a little bit.

As for Southee, they were talking him up on Fox Sports News yesterday as the next big thing in NZ cricket but we'll see how he goes as the game progresses and our players start to settle into the rhythm of this kind of pitch again.
