I'm shattered, I sat there in shock for a good minute.

Great knock pup, everyone else pathetic, especially Haddin, far out get it together.

Firstly i would like to say great knock to Michael Clarke, unlucky not too get the ton, but we needed a decent knock and he was up to it and last but not least i would like to say that Australia will just get over the line in this test.

P.S finally we have a pitch that suits bowlers!

Last season I got a bit put off of the cricket due to that crap. Whilst NZ may not be the best team going around, they always put in a full capacity effort against their Tasman rivals. We should be getting three Tests against them and not two.

Another thing, I love the Gabba ground because it is huge - it gives the batsmen and fielders a real "Test" of running 3s and 4s, as well as fielders chasing the ball, instead of watching it hit the rope three seconds after willow contact.

That's a far cry from the dog track days when it was the smallest Test venue in Australia.

Remember the 1992 Test vs the Windies when the ground staff were given batting helmets to lay down the covers due to the hail? Then you had the last day of the 1999 Test vs England when a storm ended that match. Then in 2001 when rain cut short that match. As well as 2003.

No offense to India as a country, but how much more relaxing/entertaining is the vibe you get from a cricket match played in Australia (or nearly anywhere but India for that matter)? The life in the pitches, the sunshine (for the most part), people are chillaxing with beers; there's none of that energy-sapping feeling in the air that often suffocates the atmosphere of a test played in India.
