centrals also killed my bet as well, but i was further away then most as i had them at -19.5pts.

im glad that i backed the SANFL teams at the points individually as well.

i just need the doggies to win today against my pussycats and ill be making a profit!!!!

AT the start of the week the guy on SPORTSBET came on SKY and talked about the openers in the AFL and they had Essendon favs but said they thought about putting $1.85 each and letting the punters decide. if there was ever a game to be drawn then that was it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd put the house on Central at $1.60 v Norwood.

Christ, I'm glad I only bet my first born and not my house!
Mind you I didn't count on the timekeepers cheating!

$50 on at $4.22 = $211

will be in the black with this if I can get this one up.

2 legs away from another collect and getting in the black

Port/Saints is a NO BET for me - too many questions about this game and which Port Power team will turn up.

My bet today is Cats and Demons individually and also in a Multi.

Cats play the dome better than any other ground including Skilled and you can tkae a form line on this one thru Carlton - Cats smashed them and Doggies only just shurgged them off in the last 1/4 last week.

Demons should have too many guns for Freo, as long as they shut down Pavlich they will win, they have some great small defenders to stop Medhurst and Farmer. Melbourne play the Big grounds well (MCG) and took the Eagles to 3 goals earlier in the year when the Eagles were flying.

SHEIK

Freak out the shiek's a freak.

Explain to all us mugs how you anaylised that Essendon
Carlton game and had the ingenuity to punt the draw.
Us mere mortals brag about $1-52 winners[BL] whereas
the Freakshiek finds a $67 draw winner.

AND TIPPED IT BEFORE THE GAME STARTED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The closest Ive seen to picking a draw and winning is when MT79
tipped a draw after 90 minutes Italy/france in the soccer !

With 22 rounds per season the bookies are hoping there is no more than one draw every 3 seasons, or at 8 games per round, no more than one draw every 8.5 rounds. The former seems too long, the latter seems too short. What are the bookies thinking and how did the sheik of freak and tweak know when to strike?

This is at a price of 67/1.

Also - Demons and Freo have been at 1.85 each all week so the bookies are letting the punters decide on this game as well.

The bookies would be hoping fr a draw every weekend.... would be a win for them.
8 games a weekend x 24 rounds= 192 games a year.
As there has only been 1 draw this year (so far), theoretically, the odds should be $192.
I guess waiting to jump on after Round 15 (120 games) that haven't yielded a draw, you then you hve a bit more going for you. 72 games remaining to get a draw, betting in every game would still leave yu with a loss.

Sheik & myself have a very good punting record when we play Port @ Alberton.

Punky WRONGish statement.
When its a draw they get screwed 3 times, they pay a draw, they pay 50%
of the tickets on both teams involved.
for example they paid on ES/CA + The draw.

Good luck to all on the punt this weekend.

The shiek nearly pulled of a miracle, 2 draws in the round!
Geelong pip bullys by a point 13-12 to 13-11
[have a look at mal post afl section for more on this game]

Mal check reveals that 2 draws in one afl/vfl round is a rarity,
last time was in 1977.

I really like North Adelaide... & I think they're a good bet too

Glenelg & WWT are a moral, but too short (unless you throw them in with North Adelaide for an even money bet.

I like Kangarooted at the line
(Richmond) Tiggers to win & at line
Smears (as above- line & win)
Gorilla line bet looks reasonable also

If you like the West Coast Criminals, then back 'em 1-39

I hope you didnt bet on your afl tips. Shambles there!!!

Puppies over Pussies (win over 15.5 pts @ $2.85)
