Now that Kenilworth will be staying in Div 5, which team from the ones listed above drop out?

Good player Matty Newmann, good luck to WOS if they get him. Played against Woody South when I was 16 at the start of their run straight to div 1 and was by far the best team I have played in the SAAFL.

Because last time Kenilworth were put in a position the same as this one and took the same option we did not win a single game the next year in the A's. It is a big call. Mind you it was an impressive div 5 line up that year (Modbury,Para Hills,Rosewater,Fitzroy,Hope Valley,CBCOC,Smithfield,North Haven & Kenilworth). Name the last time that many decent named clubs were in such a low division, very strong comp that year.....

Would have been 2004 I reckon but they did get religated that year. But thats not the point, For a young bunch of blokes (The core group) to go through a journey that they did over that period of time is phenominal, there would not be a footballer in the SAAFL that would not be amazed with what they acheived over 4 years. Hey they might be in div 3 now, but every kid that plays for their club would only dream of what those blokes acheived. Not only were they the best team ive played against, they probably were the ones I respected the most aswell and that is something that every person at every club aims for......(Well most clubs anyway  )

LK . 04 sounds about the mark [brain fade on my part ]. wasn't having a go. just got my years and divs confused . i think they made the mistake of thinking they could go with their group in div 1 without topping up. and you are right they should be proud of what they did.
