We are cruising along alot quicker than the Kiwi's were, great to see some nice fluent batting......

It would be great to see a 500+ score and see a couple guys get hundreds, we haven't seen that for a while. :)

I would be too, Katich is probably hating himself right now and Hayden is probably kicking himself, but thats life, everyone makes mistakes.

3/209 has been a good day's cricket for Australia. Hopefully we can see another good partnership.

I also think Chris Martin should get some hair on that head. He looks very strange at the moment.

Also note there are some calls from Kiwi fans for a return of Franklin and Mills.

Just about every shot today was about placement and timing from the Aussie batsmen. The outfield was so fast, there were a number of defensive pushes that reached the boundary. The only time I recall Ponting putting some real power into a shot was when he got out.

Yep the Kat was ball watching but perhaps the 'WAIT WAIT WAIT' call should have provided a subtle hint to Haydos that the run wasn't on. The run was only on with an immediate YES call and I still haven't heard it no matter how many times I watch the replay. Blame shared for mine.
