Aussies 5/408.

Haddin just brought up his ton to go with Pup's. They are both on 102.

Huge innings for the keeper.

7/470

B Lee c Taylor b O'Brien 19

O'Brien to Lee, OUT, Taylor pulls off a blinder and he can scarcely believe it, the ball is banged in short outside off and Lee attempts an upper cut, the ball travels quickly over the slips and Taylor at first slip stretches out his right hand and plucks it over his head and falls backwards

Johnson is another player who is capable with the bat ala Lee, Warne, Gillespie.

Great knock from Haddin. Will relieve a lot of pressure on him.

Good knock by Haddin. The presure on him no releases some what.

Now lets look at Symonds.
1st Test: 28, 20
wickets? not many.

2nd Test: 0
1 wicket

Has he performed any better than watson. Watson was lesser with the bat slightly, but his bowling well was much better.
Now should he keep his spot if we are looking at performance?
Time for M.North to be included.

He shouldn't have been given out today. Regardless he is a proven performer at Test level. People are very quick to forget.

So after seeing the benefits of patience in regards to Brad Haddin, your next move re: Symonds is to bring in a new face. Stanley, stanley, stanley...why the knife??

I've been a huge supporter of Symonds over the years, but I admit he was very forunate to win his Test spot back after some extremely mediocre performances for Queensland.

He needs a score, and he needs it soon, otherwise his Test days are numbered.

Got to the cricket early saturday and was all set to watch Haydos in his 100th. Matty was on fire with the bat when the Kat decided he wouldn't run. Now anyone who's ever played cricket knows it was Haydos' call. ******* hell Kat!!

On the plus side it was the best 24 runs I've seen in a while, but I'm not biased or anything ;)
