CENTRAL DISTRICT HEAD BACK TO THE 70s...

With the SANFL’s “Living in the 70’s†Theme Round this weekend, the Central District Football Club are paying tribute to the 70’s by taking to the field in 70’s style guernseys.
The guernsey is a complete replica of the guernsey worn by the Club until 1979 when the white-style guernsey was introduced. These one-off guernseys will be worn during this Saturday’s Central District v South Adelaide clash at Hamra Homes Oval, to commemorate the SANFL’s “Living in the 70’s†Theme Round.
The match-worn guernseys will be auctioned on eBay to raise funds to support the Junior Football Program in the Northern Community.
This Saturday afternoon also sees North Adelaide take on Norwood at Prospect Oval and the Eagles clash with West Adelaide at Woodville Oval. Sunday afternoon, Glenelg meet Port Adelaide at Glenelg Oval in an attempt to remain in finals contention.
