Well not love as such but nowhere near that much
Where the hell do they get the $$ from??
Cut a few corners on the reno's??

I think Zedman was trying to make the point that it is no good plucking numbers out the air, made his point by deliberately exaggerating.

The building would have fallen down by now if that was the case!!

There have been some further fantastic upgrades to the club over summer, must say the bar looks bloody good now they have turned it around to almost divide the room in two with bar service from both sides. Was great for Dizzy's testimonial roast last night!

just don't wreck the bloody thing during the winter ;) ;)

The big unit O'Hara is a great player and he deserves whatmoney any club has to pay him.If you ask my opinion he will be the best player in Div 5 next year by a country mile. The bloke plays in ruck and has won SANFL junior medals, he can play and as I have said in previous posts I personally beleive he was the most infuential player in Woodville Souths dynasty. But.........when I saw him against Hope Valley in the Qualifying final he was far from the player I remember. Hey he won a flag and maybe he had a bad game. but STILL the best player in the division IMHO, Just a quality player.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

I've only ever seen him play this year and I've read a few of you raving on about him. Showed glimpses of his supposed former greatness, but was far from the most influencial player in Div 6. I reckon saying he'll be the best player in Div 5 is a massive stretch of the imagination.

Well I wouldn't have had him as one of the best two ruckmen in DIV 6 season just gone. Both the Lockleys and Houghton ruckman were better IMO. But he is still a very good player.

Agree. Clint Dow (Houghton) has been the best ruckman in the comp for a while now

Actually Zed, I didn't call you a liar at all. I just said that I like the way you played that out, with the "...amount of coin he's on...", but "...loose lips sink ships... my lips are sealed...".

And you're right, I'm not in the know enough to know what the admin do and I really don't care if he is on coin either.

He came out at the request of a mate, was at every training even if injured, back at the club every Saturday night, won our best and fairest and he helped us have a fairly good season.

Pretty much everything you would want if you were to give out coin to someone really.

PS. I love O's game, but I didn't think he was the best player in Div 6 last year, so I have my doubts that he would be the best in Div 5 this year.

i saw him play as well..and he did nothing special in the finals but he has presence and size..looks like he enjoys the burgers and fries a lot to :)

and as i said LB..no shame in getting some coin..B&F and premiership is proof of that :)

Jimmy: yeah john is coaching them..this other one is much younger..and should be in div 1 from what i have been told

Ohara played for Nurioopta in the BLG a couple of years ago
Couldn't get a kick up there
Tried to bluff with his size and got found our big time
Nuri got rid of him as soon as they could
Would have been on a reasonable $ as well

They wouldn't be mugs he was playing against though. I know Stuart Lamond would've been rolling around out there then, who was AFL listed and played league, basically a ruckman that can cover the ground like a rover. Not exactly disgraceful to be overmatched by him, but I get your point.
