From what I heard tonight, it's not true and that he's not leaving - that info came 2nd hand from a player at TV.

i have just heard the same news Gimp, a very good source has just told me he knows nothing of a split with GH and TV and he would know

only stating what ive heard mm i like to think i talk the way i play (hard and fair),

just letting people know whats going on in the land of kangy or what ive been told!

also for the record i made my decision to leave before speaking to the pres and coach at the end of the season informing them of these rumours floating around that all was not well!
and i will keep in contact with them with what i hear also

i plan to return to yaroona oval to finish out my playing days who knows when that maybe 1 -3-5 yrs
one thing for sure i hope every thing posted on here is just piss and wind for the club sake. ok cammo

you should know me well enough to know that im clearly stirring the pot for a bit of a laugh!

doesnt bother me where/when/who you play for. ive openly said that i would go up there if karronda changed their name from the magpies to the "corey smelts"!

why not talk to blokes that you know are going to play for kangy? rather then the ones you hope/think are full of p&w? :? kangy may only have one side if your est of 22 players leave

dont have a problem with playa. if kangy wanted the players he is "taking" as you say wouldn't they not chase them harder? maybe not up to standard the club would like?

the club is bigger than the individual

Williamson would tear up in the hills country league from what i have seen (the kid can run and jump like a madman). I hadn't heard he was looking to move to the hills?

Also, I would like to hear about these other imports that TV have supposedly acquired. I thought their points would be nearing capacity even without all these new names.

The points only count when they play on the day... Where will the club be when GH finally gives it away!!!

All the money spent in 2008 and stillonly came 2nd.....got the same prize as Cally..sweet fa!!

The HFL have decided to maintain the 35pts for all clubs in 2009 and beyond, this was partly due to clubs arguing for this to happen. I'm not sure how dopey some of these clubs are, considering the costs involved in getting a club to that 35pt level, the costs of recruiting has become the bulk of a club's financial liability, don't they realise that by reducing the points the overall cost is also reduced.

Clubs like TV in country, Lobethal, Bridgewater and Birdwood will not be able to sustain that level of costs for long, and even if they do manage for a few years who's to say they'll finish top??

The HFL surely has an obligation to oversee all clubs viability (in the long term) maintaining these high costs will eventually cause clubs to fall over.

The hierachy of the HFL, Owen & Co are the biggest joke around in footy.
Isn't there someone out there in footyland that can shake them up a bit?

That's a bit harsh isnt it cockeyed? Especially with the HFL being one of the largest, best and most respected comps in South Australia id say they arent doing to badly at the moment. The clubs were the reason the points are staying at 35 points they voted for it to remain i could be mistaken tho.

The clubs ultimately voted for the 35pts to stay, but there is certainly no urgency (or direction) from the HFL to change anything, if they (HFL) recommended a change the clubs would have at least looked at it.

OF course the top clubs voted for it to stay because they can continue to spend lots of cash on players. There will never be major change in the HFL because it is delagate based. Why would team want to change when the system suits them but not the whole league. The same goes for relagation / promotion.
